I talked to the customer support with GarageSale (eBay selling software) and they have no idea if it will work with Lion without an upgrade. Kind of hard to believe a developer of a popular piece of software hasn't tested it yet.

Anyway, I can't upgrade to Lion until I know if GS works properly with it.

Anyone have it and have tried it?

Thanks for any help.

Sorry I have not tried it, but it is not unusual for software companies not to disclose any information since they are still under the NDA.

Sad, but true. Not all developers test. Or maybe they're still testing. You never know.

Remember to check out every application you use before you upgrade. There are a couple of websites that have compatibility infromation against the developer previews. One such is RoaringApps. One thing to remember is that each update to Lion before it is released can break or fix an application.

Thank you for the reply. I have checked the RoaringApps website, which has been helpful with other Apps, but so far GarageSale is not listed.

BTW, I highly recommend GarageSale to anyone selling on eBay, it is fantastic software.

Dont know if you made the switch to Lion yet, but I rely on GS and it's unusable with the the GM of Lion. I have to go back to SL. Not sure if an update would fix it but i'll upgrade in a few weeks when the bugs are sorted out. As it is, I can't even make a listing.

That's a shame. I'm glad you posted, you've saved me a huge headache. I'll wait until they officially support Lion. Thank you.

Glad I could Help out some fellow eBay/macforum users

I reverted back to SL last night so I could work

The beauty of osx - made clone of hd, wiped/reinstalled SL, copied home folder and apps back, create new user and reassign home folder, done in less then 2 hours. Lion was exciting but to be honest I didnt really benefit from any features besides resize windows from any corners. Not much substance but a lot of visual whiz bang

Huh?

The program doesn't work properly. Keeps crashing. And the forms (mainly title for item) simply won't accept text. It's really unusable. Tried on 2 machines.
