It seems every change they implement is a step backwards. It is so clunky now it’s almost unusable.

the company as a whole is swirling down into the abyss (hole). If you haven't kept up to date with the disaster called Facebook- get up to speed.

Facebook in general has gone down hill and the app itself has gone with it. Soon Facebook will be like email- barely touched. When smartphones have built in functions that do what Facebook does without the annoying parts of Facebook, it will be the end.

Sucks more everyday. Facebook sucks. The app sucks. If it wasn't the best way to keep in touch with family members and dear friends thousands of miles away I would have tossed it long ago. Ick.

Email is barely touched?

Also, I don't really get all the hate for FB. I don't mean the app, but FB in general. It is what you make of it.

Not sure it was ever "uphill". It was always a battery drain, and a time suck. I dumped my FB account over 4 years ago and haven't really missed it. But my phone is happier.

This.

Always a pig of an app. Add in their skeezy business practices, people you follow that go off the rails politically (both left and right), waste of time, imo. Was less and less pulling it up, didn't post anything myself for a couple of years, finally told them to "delete" my account. Uninstalled the app. Not missing it.

You think email is barely touched?
