iPod Anyone think the Shuffle will get a redesign anytime soon?

Anyone think the Shuffle will get a redesign anytime soon? It's still got that '2G Nano' look to it. If it does happen, here's my theory

- It will have beveled edges like the new Nano
- That blank part to the left of the control area will go, and it won't be as wide
- They will drop the 1GB and lower the price of the 2GB

Any other ideas? I highly doubt we will get a screen.

I like your update ideas, but are they really necessary to boost shuffle sales I wonder?

I love my shuffles (and my 2G Nano - LOL) and they work just fine. For me, the 1GB size fits in my workday. I start off by clipping the shuffle of the day onto my employee ID badge and usually by the end of the day I've gone through all my songs.

Beveled edges would be nice, but not necessary, in my opinion. They might make it more difficult to grab onto the shuffle - sometimes they just bounce right out of my hands they're so small!

And the blank space to the left of the control wheel is needed to mash down on when I open the clip so I'm not putting pressure on the controls. :)

Long may the shuffle live!!! I want one in every color. :D
 
I'd love to see a USB plug added back in somehow. The original shuffle was better in this regard -- much easier to use as a memory stick. Maybe they could design it with a removable plug so if you wanted hyper-portability you could still use it without the plug.
