Looks like this app will give you the mapping capabilities of 1.1.3...I'll try it out and report back.

I'm in Ithaca, NY, and it got me to within two miles or so...I was hoping for better, but its certainly better than nothing.
 
works alright. Was in a few blocks away from my apartment. I don't see myself using this though.
 
Got my house in Fairfax, VA spot on.

Was reasonably close at a restaurant in Alexandria.

And was very close at a restaurant in McLean.

So far so good.

Works for me, I'd say with about 1/2 to 1/4 mile accuracy, not as good as a GPS, but if I'm lost in some city, I could get directions to where I'd need to go. I tried Navizon, and it was never able to find my location.
 
It depends on where I am. It will get me to the block most times here in Chicago. Try having wifi on as well - I find that makes a big difference
