The original drive is 5mm. There isn't much room left over in the case, if you got it in, it might get a bit warm......

I" don't believe there's room enough for that to fit inside the case.

And anyway why would you want to do it. For flash memory use an USB flash memory device. I have 3 32GB flash drives, and they're great!

Problem with the usb is they are a bit slow. they only at best get around the 32mbps from what I have seen, I dont need the 80gb that I have, all I have on the air is word 08 aperture 2 the usual web browser and email.

I have the macbook pro for my music and video, so a 32gb compact flash would work great and save about $200 as apposed to getting the proper ssd hard drive, will post results of I give it a try.
