I was just wondering with some of the recent improvements to iCloud Drive, that perhaps there might be an improvement to the Windows Client.

Has anyone tried the Windows client lately or is it as bad as ever?

Not till they add the ability to selective sync. I used it last year a little - wasn’t bad but I don’t want it syncing all my data as my work computer is a windows 10 machine.

Thanks for the response. I might drop OneDrive and switch to iCloud if the windows sync wasn’t a pain in the neck.

As I have repeated before:
There is no bandwidth throttle.
No native ability to switch the download location to a larger disc, though hacks exist.
And also no real progress or status of what is uploading/downloading.

And then there is the problem of the enormous AppData folder that gets created.

Guess I will keep using OneDrive.

Wish iCloud would be a multi-platform solution....sigh.

Just checking back to see if iCloud for Windows works or if it is still a tool to sell you a Mac.
