I, like others, are probably waiting for a good case solution to come about. In the meantime, I had a thought of getting a silicone/rubber case made for an older gen iPod Touch and using it for my 4G. Since it's silicone/rubber, you could potentially cut out a hole for the back camera.

I know, probably a silly thought, but anyone else think of this? Better yet, has anyone actually done this?

Not worth it, the size of the new one is smaller and not as wide/tall. Just wait a week and buy some official cases.
 
The cases for older gen ipod Touches are just too big and won't fit your new device well. I'm just being careful with it in the mean time. I really want some sleek case for mine. I'd love one with cool racing stripes, maybe made out of leather.
