I was kinda hoping for "One more thing." After the various wry comments from the stage alluding to the leaks, it would have been nice for them to come back with a, "And you thought you ferreted out all the secrets!" But all the same, I also got tired of hearing terms like "revolutionary." If the "one more thing" isn't truly mind-blowing, why do it? So, a tip of the hat to Tim & Co. for a bit of restraint.
There were a few nice surprises along the way, but none that would get the kind of universal oohs and aahs that would justify saving them for the last. It's just as well. A mediocre "one more thing" would have resulted in countless, "Clearly, they can't innovate like Steve could" comments.
Meh~ I wouldn't have leaked it if I knew. It's like telling people they are updating the 'Sync' button in iTunes.
No one cares about a dismantling robot. However it does know how to dismantle an iPhone very precisely.
Who knows, maybe soon enough Liam's cousin knows how to build one.
You underestimate the "news scoop" mentality. It's not a matter of whether someone
cares about a dismantling robot (they'd probably be far more interested in a self-dismantling robot)... we're at the point where the competition for clickbait is so stiff, it's far safer to post it in hopes that someone will find it interesting, than to dismiss it out of hand.
