Anyone use a free memory app on the iPad?

I use MemoryInfo by Recession Apps on my iPod Touch to free up memory (saves having to perform a reboot). It looks as though the developer has another version compatible with the iPad:

Has anyone used this or something comparable to free memory on their iPad? Just wondering if it caused any issues.
