Anyone use Default Folder X?

It looks handy but I've read some bad reports of it causing instability. But these isssues may have been fixed.

Does anyone have any experience with it, or perhaps suggest a better alternative?

It is, without a doubt, the most productive add-on on all of my Macs.

It is so cool to be able to move the mouse while a save dialog is present and see the outlines of all the open windows (which allow you to jump to that particular folder).

Stable as a rock - if an app has a problem with it, you can exclude it very easily. The only time I've seen that happen was with OmniGraffle - but that's even been fixed.
