mac Mini has a AMD Radeon HD 6630M graphics card.

generally better to go with a 1080p screen for a computer. Not absolutely necessary but people usually report better results with 1080p over 720p.
 
UPDATE!!!! I just tryed this screen with a HDMI and it seems to work very well. Not really high end stuff, but very good all the same. I suggest using it from a furthur than normal distance, just to improve quality
 
ive only used it with dvi- so no, but with HDMI it may be better. Its not an exellent screen though

Can I just point out that hdmi=dvi+sound. Literally. The display connection carried by an HDMI port is re-pinned DVI.

And can I point out that my particular screen only has HD enabled when using HDMI. I have tryed both and the screen flashes lower max resolution displayes with DVI/AVG
