I bought the base M1 and I knew that it would have imitations, I'm just trying to figure out if I've hit one of the limitations. I just installed Turbo Tax and while loading and saving the return, I get a second or two of the colorful spinning wheel. It's not a big deal and if this is as bad as it gets, I'm happy with my decision as this is the first I've seen of "the wheel" and probably the most that I tax the system. I'm wondering if anyone using TT can confirm that if I had more memory that I wouldn't see the wheel.

ETA - I think I figured it out. More likely that it is the attached SSD I'm saving the file to. I'd delete the post but I don't see any way to do so.

Problem solved….I been using Turbo tax since 2008 on a iMac 20” 2007 C2D without issues. Needless to say years passed and newer machines still no issues.

Sorry, I stand corrected. It was not possible for me to run TurboTax '23 on my late-2014 iMac which is running macOS Big Sur and cannot be updated to Monterey.

This is to run the TurboTax desktop software, not the online version.
