I've been using Yosemite dp3 on an external USB drive and I finally decided to get rid of the Linux partition I never use and put Yosemite in it's place. CCC gave me a warning about missing the mach_kernel, which I ignored because the kernel is in a different location in Yosemite. Other then that the while process seemed to go smoothly. When I tried to boot the partition today it just gave me the crossed out circle thing. I really didn't anticipate that... Am I the only one?

I went into disk utility to resize my original Yosemite partition so i could restore it to a smaller partition when i saw that i couldn't resize it... I didn't realize Yosemite makes a lvg when installed to a secondary partition. Weird. I think that may have been why it didn't boot.
