I was looking out for an Reminder APP with an Alarm which kind of Occupies the Middle of Screen, and does not stop irritating you unless you get on the Task. I came across this Reminder APP called “DUE” does anyone have experience of using this ? How is it ? My requirement is I want a reminder APP which does not remind you in Notification but like in middle of your screen, blocking what ever you are doing currently. is there an APP like that ? Does it even exist ? Any other Suggestikons, Please do let me know.

Thanks !

I bought and use Due. Generally I like it but sometimes its attempts to parse the time and day for an event is annoying as you’re wanting to notify about an event that will happen later (like a dentist appt that you want to be altered to a day or two earlier). Other than minor niggle it’s a nice app. You can install it on both your iPad and iPhone and it will sync via iCloud to keep the reminders the same.

Ok but Let's say if I am in middle of something like on a website or any other APP or even watching YouTube and if the reminder time is up. Does it remind you via a notification appearing from the top of the screen ? Or does it pop up like in the middle of screen obstructing whatever you are doing on your screen ?

Due is fantastic. It's like basically every other app in that you can set your preferences so that you can get banner notifications. Its ability to snooze from these notifications (and customize your snooze options) so that you can quickly dismiss the notification and keep doing what you're doing until a better time is one of the best features of this app. Highly recommended.

lol ! Nobody is answering my core question :) how does it show notification ? Middle of screen or just a gentle reminder showing on top of the screen ?

That's because like all other third party apps, it's limited by what iOS allows.

Try changing the Banner Style to Persistent and see if that helps.

People who are using Due if any of you can help me here. So I have gone ahead and purchased this APP but, I have a problem using this APP with the Snooze Tone/Music. so what happens is when I am testing the Snooze alarms before assigning it to a Reminder they sound very loud in terms of volume., but when I assign it to a reminder that I create, they sound very low in volume ? Why does this happen ? And before you tell me My iPad Ringer Volume is already on maximum. So why does the Snooze Alarm at the time of reminder is not sounding as loud as while testing it ? Why does it sound so low? Can any of you guys please help me ?

For your understanding i have also put a screen recording of the same thing. First is while testing the Snooze Tone and second is while actually the Reminder is playing.(You can play this files which are the screen recording on your iPad for you to be able to understand what I am saying)

P.S : This happens to me in the Native iPad Alarms also when I am testing the sound of each alarm they sound loud but when the alarm rings at the assigned time, they sound very low !!
