Hi

I have tried making replacement carrier images for my 1.1.4 unlocked iPhone, and run into a problem making them transparent on the phone.

I use a transparent background in PSP 8.10 Windows, and save the image as a .png. I then put it into the carrier bundle on the phone, and it does indeed show up as the carrier image on the screen. However, the transparent bits now show as solid white :( and it looks rubbish.

If I reopen the saved image in PSP, the background has also gone white, so I guess it's going wrong on the save, not on the phone.

Any advice on how to make PSP keep the transparent background when it saves a png? Or any tips on what else to use to do this right? Can the phone recognise any other graphics formats?

Thanks!!
