Hi

Verizon is starting to sell the Netgear Orbi. Is anyone using this with Verizon Fios? Does it work well?

Thanks

I have this combo and it works great, but has nothing to do with working with FiOS. FiOS is the service that gets a LAN network to your house....has nothing to do with distributing your network within your house via wifi through a wireless router such an Orbi. All wifi routers can work with FiOS....what you want to do is turn off the wifi in the FiOS router they provide, and let the Orbi set up your wifi network.

If you don’t have a large house, or don’t need the number of ethernet ports the Orbi satellites have, you should also look at Google Wifi. Dead simple to use, better user interface.

Verizon says that the version they sell will be compliant with future firmware updates.

Does the Google WiFi mesh have Ethernet ports ?

One on each Google satellite, instead of the 3 or 4 on the Orbi.
