since the weekly contest centers around noir imagery, thought I'd ask if anyone else is enjoying this new B&w editing software.

It rocks. I have Silver Efex Pro (Nik's B&W plugin) and I find myself using Tonality Pro more. The key is that it has layers. And it's pretty easy to use. Worth a demo.

Tried it out recently as it is currently 50% off in the app store. I really like it. I use Silver Efex plug-in with CS6 for my black and white processing requirements but I can see myself turning to Tonality going forward due to its ease of use and interface.

Would recommend this to anyone who has even a passing interest in monochrome photography.

YES!!!!!!! Get it. It is fantastic. I also have Silver Efex Pro by NIK but have migrated more towards Tonality. Google hasn't released and update for NIK in quite a while. It will die a sad death eventually. The same way Aperture did.
