I'm a semipro audio guy, I'd like either a mini with the 4.2 I7 in it or
the iMac with the 4.2 and a 32" screen...anyone else?

There are some people on this forum that want it. I personally have never felt limited by the 27", although sometimes wished for a decent second monitor.

I have my protools setup in my living room, so I'm also using my MacBook pro connected to my 32" monitor
for protools and video watch..netflix etc..when using Protools its nice to have the mixer and edits screens side by side.
The 27" is too small for that and video watching imo.

Won't happen. A 27" display at 5K resolution gives Apple their patented Retina display PPI mark on the Mac of ~217 pixels per inch. Going to 32" lowers that PPI number to a less impressive 183 PPI.

I would be interested in a larger screen if it could have similar DPI to the 27", but I am also happy with the 27".

Maybe they could make a non-retina 32" for us lumpen:)

Just buy a 32 inch external monitor. Or an 34 inch ultrawide
My workstation desk only has room for a 32-36 monitor which I already have.
I would like a more powerful mac to connect to my monitor. The new MacBook pro
only goes up 3.1 which is not a lot more powerful than my 2012 MacBook pro 2.7 I7
Hence I'm asking for a more powerful mini..3.6,or 4.2 or a 32,34 or 36" iMac.
I guess I could buy an old Mac Pro?..Maybe I'll do that :)
