What I want to do is share files between my iBook and my PC, and print from my iBook wirelessley to my printer connected to the PC.
I have an Actiontec 'Wireless - Ready Multimedia Home Gateway' (link - http://www.actiontec.com/support/broadband/homegateway/ ) . This is connected to my PC downstairs running XP.
This PC is connected to a hp psc 750 printer and an Epson stylus photo 870.

Now the situation is, I have little idea on how networks work etc. and would love all the help I can get. If anyone is willing to help and needs more info. then I can post it, or allternativley we can ichat which would probs be easier.

Thanks anyone can help :)

I am assuming you've been able to get your Mac on the network (i.e., plugged into the gateway with a valid IP address).

From there, just go to this thread. It has all the networking answers you'll need, I imagine.
