anyone willing to do os x yosemite review here?

i haven't dl new os yet...but i would like to read some of you opinions/facts about the new osx

Well this is my opinion:
- Some menu options seem sluggish. The animations aren't smooth like Mavericks.
- My laptop is running warmer than it does on Mavericks, I will wait a couple days and see if it still persists.
- Hideous color scheme - I knew it was gonna be bright but deyyymmm!
- Extremely fast boot up, I'll give it that. It takes less than 6-8s to boot up. Fast wake up from sleep too.
- Surprisingly I'm getting really good battery with Yosemite. Been over an hour of surfing and it only lost 1%.
- The apps I use are working fine. Check the apps you use if they have been updated yet before you update to Yosemite.

question: did they still lose that "save as...?" under file?

I have an rMPB 15" and an hour of surfing (with brightness at 75-80%) takes me between 8 and 10%

I have a mid 2014 13" 8GB RAM rMBP. I"m seeing faster boot up time than Mavericks.
And I guess the MBP always runs a little hot...

I have a 13" rMBP. Yeah at first I was sure the battery thing got messed up and there was no way that could happen, but right now I'm at 85%, so I guess that's normal. My brightness was way down when I posted earlier though cuz I was in a dark room, so maybe that was why.
