Apple claims, that an iPad will have 80% of the original capacity after 1000 charging cycles. Anyone were, who have these number of cycles? If not, the capacity after 500 cycles also will be interesting.

Yeah, that'd be interesting to see. My iPhone 5 battery was swelling so big that it pushed the screen off after about 370 cycles. And battery life was at about 15 minutes per full charge.

Had the battery replaced and Apple Store said they had never seen a battery with such a low test score when they plugged it into their computer.

So, yeah, I'd be curious also what others see on their 1000+ cycle iPads.

I had my battery replaced. Cost me $100. And been great ever since. But I would be surprised if any Apple device had 80% ratings after 1000 cycles.

They claim the same with their computers, my MBP 2015 has 401 cycles and around 83% of its health, however I've seen a 2011 MBP with 600+ cycles that was within 100mah of its original rating. I'm hoping the iPads can last, with the battery life I'm getting on my iPad Pro I've almost caught up to the amount of charge cycles my iPad Air 2 had after two and half years in 4 months.

Indeed? So my iPhone 5s had about 95% after 380 cycles, that should be possible.

How many cycles do you have on your iPad Pro now?

iPad Pro is at 92.8% health after 123 cycles. However I do use the 29W charger which will affect it over the long run, I believe my air 2 had around 180 cycles, but I can't remember it's health, I know it was far above 80%.

+ I believe Apple only claims 500 cycles on iPhones.

And I actually just upgraded to a 7+ because I got a 6s+ with a bad battery from my insurance provider, it had around 220 cycles with 83% left.

My iPad 4 is at 77% health with a bit over 530 cycles... Maybe it is because it has 4 years, but I find it low.

I bought my 12.9" iPad Pro in November 2015. I have plugged it in nearly every night since then, so I have ~500 charge cycles so far. The battery life has not appreciably decreased yet.

How do you find out the cycles?

Coconut battery. Shows both Mac and iOS devices when plugged in.

What charger do you use? After 120 most with the 29w charger my health is down 8%

I have only used the stock Apple charger included with the iPad Pro. I haven't measured the battery health in some numeric way, my assessment is subjective.
