Anyone with a 23/24" external display?

Before I order my iMac (17", X1600, 2GB memory ) I just have to ask if anyone with a 17" or 20" iMac is using a secondary display with a resolution of 1920x1200 or higher with it.

How does it run? Is Exposé and Dashboard smooth and everything on the secondary display? Or is it choppy when you are running more than a few applications?

I don't run quite that high but I have a 19" Dell that runs at 1280x1024 with a 17" iMac with the x1600 128meg. It runs beautifully with no lag, very snappy. If you are worried about this you may want to spend the extra few dollars on upgrading to the 256 meg video card.

I have the 20" with dell 24" and it runs very smoothly. I haven't experienced any lag or choppyness.
