See title - was hoping to order through apple instead of firstnet as I've had multiple bad experiences ordering through AT&T

In the same exact boat. Perhaps only way is to order an unlocked unit (which requires you buying out the phone straight up). It’s exactly what I’m gonna do. Purchasing it using the Apple Card, trade in difference will be applied to the card + get 3% back via Apple Cash.
