Apologies if this has been discussed already but I didn't see anything on the topic.

Can anyone report how well 11 is working on the SE? Saw a couple of positive posts on the 6S which would indicate it might be fine on the SE.

Thoughts?

My SE has been great, however I am having an issue with battery life. My phone indicated Siri used 50% of my battery on the first full day since my iOS update. Unsure as to why as I didn’t touch my phone all day. Rebooted my phone and hoping for better results tomorrow.

iOS 11 works fine on my SE. Fast, smooth Safari scrolling, alone, is worth the update. If anything is slower, I haven't noticed it. Battery shows 79% left after 1 hr 43 min usage today. Seems about what it was with iOS 10, and this time I had Hey, Siri always listening. 80% of the battery usage was in Safari, but that's where I spent most of my time, so no surprise.

The safari scrolling is indeed an important reason why I upgraded; I bought the SE two weeks ago as my first iPhone having used iPads for years, and I found the scrolling in iOS 10 on the phone very weird. Happy they changed that. I also like most of the other changes.
Would like to have the same way of getting back to your homescreen as on the iPad with iOS though, by swiping completely up.

I notice less of a speed difference on the SE as I do on the Air2, the latter stutters more.

Ive had the GM for 2-3 days and I wasnt happy with the perfomance, I mean its not that bad, but it just isnt responsive and fluid like 10.3.3. So ive downgraded. And im praying for a 10.3.3 jailbreak in the future xD

I just now discovered that GarageBand doesn't want to start anymore, it simply crashes when opening and after that the homescreen shows a rotated background. Re-installing GarageBand didn't work as didn't rebooting.
Hmm. Anyone the same experience?

Been using it for a couple of weeks now and it’s been great. The only time when I can get the thing to hang/studder is if I quickly move from the home screen to the notification pane and the quickly to the widgets. I did the same thing on and iPhone 8 demo unit and got it to lag as well, so it’s not a hardware thing with the SE.

If anyone is worried about upgrading, don’t be. It doesn’t make the phone worse and there really is no good reason not to update.
