Yes, I am. 15" - 2.3 i7, 16gb ram with iris pro/geforce.

It runs OK, but animations/graphics are sluggish and it eats up a lot of RAM. I kind of wish I waited, so my personal recommendation is that you hold off until the next DP.

Yes. Really smooth. OS looks good on the retina display, much better than a 2013 air.

When I bought my retina mbpr it has OS X 10.9.1 , this specific version was extremely fast on my machine , when 10.9.2 came out I noticed that shutdown time takes 20 seconds , and on 10.9.1 only takes about 4 seconds.

But I think that Yosemite, at its stable version, will run super smoothly.
Specs:
MacBook pro retina 15 late 2013
512GB flash storage pcie
16 gb ram
Intel iris pro + nvidia 750m

It was 10.9.2 that really increased performance for Mavericks, so I'd expect it to be a similar scenario for Yosemite.

Late 2013 15" rMBP w/Iris Pro + GT 750m.

In fact it was 10.9.3 that fixed the sluggish display rendering of the Launchpad in my old Macbook Pro 17 mid 2010.

I'm running Top Spec MBPR15 late 2013, except that I have Yosemite installed on an external USB 3.0 drive, so booting up is like sucking the data through a straw compared to the SSD. That being said, once it's all loaded and being used for a few minutes, the RAM takes over and it's pretty nice. I'm actually a little shocked at how stable it is. I've been using it for two days.

16GB Physical Memory
12.58GB Memory Used
Virtual Memory: 16.00GB
Swap Used: 3.8MB (yes megabytes)

I've opened practically every application to test them at this point (not all at the same time, but still) so that should give you an idea of how well it's running.

Well and truly said.

If you want a smooth experience , wait until 10.10.2 or 10.10.3

Considering this is a first public beta, I am impressed with the speed and memory usage so far. Boot up and shut down are slower on my MBPR and iMac. All else is working well enough to make me a very happy camper.

I am on the fence on purchasing a 13" late 2013 retina Macbook Pro. I've read about the wifi problems some of these machines have had, namely wifi dropping after going to sleep and inconsistent ping times.

For anyone running Yosemite on these machines (even on a 15" since the problems were on these too) have the wifi problems gone away?

I'm thinking that might be a niche group of people who had issues. I haven't had any problems on my 15" late 2013 rMBP (Mavericks and Yosemite), except in the case of unstable wifi coming from the AP (college dorm and classrooms). At home with my Airport Extreme, I've had no issue whatsoever. I would actually go so far to say that this machine is always connected to wifi when I wake it, where my 2010 would have to reconnect every time.

It is laggy? or it runs smothly?
Thanks in advance

You should read some of the responses here with a fanboi filter....Yosemite is a developer preview and runs as such.

Nothing (for me) is a show stopper so I can use it and still get work done. However, it is buggy and laggy with some animations. The Vista/Windows 7 like transparency causes some issues.

It is a good DP (it is not a beta) which will only get better with time.

I have filed many bug reports in the past week and the list of issues on the developer forums is long. There are many great things about Yosemite and the release will bring some neat things to users.

I'm not sure I would jump in at this point in time. You might want to wait till the public beta. If you do decide to install the DP make sure you go in with your eyes open. Be prepared for bugs and work-arounds until the OS matures.
