Anyway to auto hide the download bar in Chrome for mac?!

Hi so I download some files while using Chrome for mac and the download bar appears with all the filenames downloaded horizontally.

Is there anyway to auto-hide this bar or just disable this bar? Please advise. Thanks!

I can't comment as to good or bad but a quick search at the Chrome Web Store turns up three extensions that may be helpful to you.
