Hi.

It seems there always comes up a need, for this. Is there anyway to download a streaming quicktime? Yes, sometimes the videos let you, but other times any attempt to save simply gives you a file that links to some stream. Anyway around this?

Thanks!

hmmmm Quicktime Pro!

If u have quicktime pro, an inverted triangle appears on the lower right of ur screen that gives u an option to save it as a Q'time movie or see it full screen.

Q'time Pro registration is about $40 AU

it has plenty of perks... see apple.com/quicktime

By streaming video what do you mean? Is it live (like when you are having a video chat.) Or it is stored in your browser cache(ie once the video is downloaded you can play it again without downloading it again? I dont know if live treams can be downloaded. But there are ways to save the other type of video. Which site you download videos from?(

Yeah I have Quicktime Pro already.

Well, I was trying to download a video, from the artists' own website.

Another good example though is like Apple's Keynotes. If you try to save them, it just saves a tiny little file that links to a stream. There is no way around this? Thanks.
