If you go into Beejive page of the iPhone App Store, you will see in the upper right hand corner one of two possible things - 1.) the price, which means you did not download it yet or 2.) the word 'Installed', which means you did.

As to the price, I do not know.

This is wrong. It will only say "installed" if it is on his iphone currently. Which it's not, or he wouldn't be asking this question.
If he deleted beejive before then in the iphone app store it will just show the price.

The only way I can think of is to go through your itunes purchase history account. Or if you have email alerts turned on for it, go through those.

Yeah, I'd say the easiest way is to search through your iTunes emails if you have those. One time I tried to go through all of my emails and make a list of the apps I'd downloaded and how much I paid, etc, all in a nice spreadsheet. It quickly became too much work and I gave up.

One easy way to do it is to go to your account information from Itunes. Once you go there you will be able to see a button for purchase history. HOpe that helps.

Like said, purchase history, but tends to get pretty annoying when you get tons of free apps, as they clog up the pages. Apple should make it much easier to navigate this..
