Anyway to fine tune Safari cache?

This has been an issue for a long time for me; I am not sure if it is Safari but on Ventura 13.4.1 and the latest Safari:

I have a Tab group called "Morning news."

When I select it, it opens several tabs. A couple are national newspapers. The problem is that nearly every time I select the tab in the morning, I see yesterday's news. I then have to reload or click the newspaper's title to see today's news.

Anyway, is there any app that will allow me per-site cache elimination or, better, just cache for one day?

If you enable the Develop menu, you can clear the cache with the shortcut ⌥⌘E

I guess in a cache there was some weird or corrupt file?

As I’m not accessing the same static content again and again , I clean Safari’s cache with ⌥⌘E at least once a day.

Now my ipad won't sync reading list items.

going to log out of iCloud and back in later.

Already rebooted and turned on and off the safari icloud toggle.

Goodness. I am now doing the same, and safari is running better! again thanks for the tip.
