is there anyway to get your iphone to play its movie on your tv?

i know you can do this with the ipod.... with the a/v cables.

anyone tried this yet? whats the resolution look like? how is it?

:)

I don't think it is possible to do this since the iPhone has no "Video out" option.

I could be wrong ...

Out of the box, video output is not currently enabled.

I do expect to see some video output support (like that of the 5G iPod) in a future firmware update. However, I wouldn't expect mirroring support (a la iPhone interface, Safari, Google Maps, etc) to S-Video or Composite anytime soon.

However, if you watch the Macworld Keynote from January you will see that Apple has created such a display attachment for that specific demo.

yea i just tried with the cables and it does not work, i would like to see though them fix this with a update....

i see no reason why you shouldnt be able to watch what you have on your phone through your tv
