Anyway to put continuity on silent?

I love the feature but as many of you already know the extra ringing is annoying. I don't want to turn it all the way off. I just want to put the ringer on silent.

with all the ring types offered, I'm surprised that Apple didn't offer "silent" as a an option. being able to individually select silent on devices would be great.

it's a big omission in my opinion. one I hope they fix in the future.

As a temp solution there is a procedure in another thread on here to re-use one of the standard sound file names to use a custom ringtone. You could use the same process to create yourself a silent ringtone you can then select.

Yes its an inelegant answer to having the same custom ringtone on the iPhone and Mac too....
