In ios11, with raise to wake, I’ve hung up calls, in-muted calls, and other actions in my pocket. The source of this is “raise to wake” and the new lock screen showing phone controls. Screenshot attached.

Anyway to avoid this?

It has always looked like that when on a phone call.

Is your proximity sensor working? As that should keep the screen off when in the pocket. I have no idea how raise to wake is being activated in the pocket as that needs a deliberate “raise” action. And you can when on speaker, use the side button to turn the screen off.

Not a fan of Raise to Wake, so, have it disabled and have not had this.

Bring up some other app while on a call? That way the call controls get "minimized" into the green on-call banner. Will maybe bump something else, but not the controls.
