iPhone 8/Plus Anyway to set HDR quality image shots the default in IOS 11?

So I have an iphone 8 running ios 11. However there seems to be no way to set HDR photos as default.

Is there anyway to do this? Please assist. Thanks!

Settings>Camera>Auto HDR?

Try this...

Settings > Camera > Toggle Auto HDR to off.

Now, in the camera app you will see a HDR button at the top. Hit HDR every time you shoot and select On.

I'm not sure what your requirements are but I find the Auto HDR option works best in most situations (for me, anyway).
