Anyway to "Show All" by default in the finder?

In my finder, I have my documents grouped by Application and then by Name. The groups in the Same Application only appear on one line in the finder. To see all of my documents, I need to click on Show All. Is there a way in Yosemite to display all by default?

What view (Column, Icon, List) have you enabled?

You can't. Shaw all is off by default and there is no way to turn it on by default ( but I guess a terminal command will do)
