I sold an old iphone on craigslist, and met the person to complete the transaction. I forgot to reset the device and wipe the data beforehand so after inspecting the device and agreeing to its condition and exchanging the money, i proceeded to reset the device and wipe it. The status bar appears and well it was taking a long time, and i had to run back to work.......she tells me that once started, the reset can't be stopped. I figured that was true, but now that i'm back at work, I can't help but wonder if she could have stopped the reset.................

Question is once the reset/data wipe has been initiated is there any way to stop it? perhaps power off/on or if the battery life fails?
