Prices did bump up a bit where they still have them in stock. The lack of a quad core option and the lack of user upgradeability of the newer model Minis seems to have caused a lot of panic purchases.
I picked up a base 2012 i5 model for £399 (£100 discount) at the local Apple Store yesterday. Seemed like a good deal to me - just pricing up RAM and SSD now!
Apple Store in the Trafford Centre (UK) also had the i7 models in stock.
Will probably have to be quick, once the new stock is in the older ones are being sent back on November 1st apparently!
I just picked up a new open box 2012 i7 at BestBuy. They still had some regular priced models in stock as well. My recommendation would be if you're looking to get one to get it now. Because as stated above this could definitely become the next Apple TV 2.
