I have had the 14 Pro Max since launch day, and have not been impressed with battery life. I have had AOD turned on. I am normally not a heavy user, and have been ending the day around 50% battery remaining.
On Friday, I decided to turn off AOD to see if it made a difference. Well...it makes a huge difference. As I sit at my desk now my phone has 86% remaining with AOD turned off. That's with doing the 16.0.3 update today and my normal activity. With AOD turned on I would have been at 70-75% remaining right now.
Based on this I would certainly say AOD has a bigger effect on battery life than previously thought. I will continue to test and report back. What is everyone else seeing at this point?
