iPhone 15 Pro Max AOD sometimes turning completely off iPhone 15 PM.

I notice often when I set my phone down in a dim room such as when watching tv at home etc the AOD shuts off completely after about a minute or so. I have not met any of the 8 conditions by Apple where it shuts off. At my desk at work etc it never shuts off. Anyone notice this?
