My son just got the Age of Empires II Gold Edition for Mac.
We have an eMac PPC, 10.5.8 running on Leopard
When I'm trying to install, it runs but quits after just 3 things have installed then I get an error "Install Failed. Failure to install items with '/application'. See software manufacturer for more assistance".
I thought I'd try here first to see if anyone can help me with this.
Are there some settings I should change before I install the software?
Thanks for any help you guys can give me.

that's really weird. my family had an old eMac and me and my brother played aoe2 on it all the time. try booting in classic, it may work then.

It used to work on my old iMac with tiger. I tried finding the AoEII discs but I moved to another town last year and can't find them. Otherwise I would try to install on both Leopard and Snow Leopard.
Too bad... It's the best game ever IMO.
