Hoii,
Recently me and my gf both upgraded our laptops, with me getting the new MBP and she getting an Asus with Vista (I'm so happy I got the mac). On our old systems we were AoE II addicts, so we decided to get AoE III on our new computers to play multiplayer together.
Unfortunatley though I have not been able to connect my computer to hers, neither over LAN or Internet. Does anyone have any idea how we could tackle this problem? I have version 1.0.2 of the game, and she has 1.11 (the PC equivalent to mac version 1.0.2 I hear)
Any help is much appreciated, and many thanks in advance...

(Oh, and do you think C&C3 would have similar issues when it comes out?)

Hey man,

I don't think that the mac version of AOE3 can play multiplayer with the windows version of AOE3. I assume it's something to do with the way their coded and not some stupid propriety rights ****.

HOWEVER, you can always just install Windows via BootCamp and play the windows version.

make sure the versions are the same. If they aren't they won't work together.

If you can't be sure then it will remain a possible source of the problem.
