AOL Instant Messenger issues

I have AIM version 4.7 running on a powerbook. For some reason it won't let me look at anyones profiles. Anyone else have this problem?

I've found AIM for OSX to be pretty bad. I don't think they update it since iChat came out.
I'd say download Adium or just use iChat, though i like Adium more for customizability.

Use Adium for chat, and fire up iChat for file transfers.

You should use iChat, (assuming you have Tiger) you can view and create a profile now in version 3.

iChat is more user-friendly if you aren't a very tech-savy person, but Adium is the de-facto program for instant messaging 'round these parts.
