i may be a little late on this one but aol radio now fully works over edge! i was really disappointed when aol said only for 3g and wifi, but the new update supports edge, i cant believe im saying this about aol but this is now a great app, it has better features than pandora, but i really like both.

AOL radio now fully functional over EDGE!

I've been listening to myriad stations over EDGE, AM and FM. Albeit the stream on EDGE was sometimes dropped down to the narrowband level of the player on the computer, but otherwise it was great.
I work in an office without Wi-Fi, and I listen every day to two stations out of Portland, OR (one AM, the other FM) and they've always worked. You may have not been able to use it because the stations in question only had a broadband stream, and you were in an area where your EDGE speeds were reduced below the broadband threshold.
Or do you mean there were other AOL stations that were not CBS Radio stations (which worked from day one) and they did not work until the latest update?

They always worked for me. I love AOLradio. I use it to listen to ESPN radio using the wifi at the gym.
