In my new world of working from home and taking a lot of meetings, I was somewhat surprised to find pretty bad battery life with my APPs. It hadn't occurred to me just how much the microphone eats away. I was getting about 2-2.5 hours of usage before hitting 0% (and not the claimed 3.5 hours). I've switched to using the microphone on my Webcam/computer, and now seeing battery life return to normalish (4 hours with Transparency).
