Hi there,
I've used my Airpods Pro now for roughly a week and have noticed some weird ANC behaviour. With ANC enabled, lower frequency sound gets blocked quite effictively (as you would expect), but some higher frequency noise gets through to the right ear piece very easily. It's a bit hard to describe, it usually happens when (very audibly) closing a door, or when trains cross a rail switch. The sound going through also resonates in a very uncomforable manner. It only happens on the right ear piece, regardless of ear tip size (and thus fit)
Firmware is 2B588, not the problematic one. I have asymmetrical ear canals, so I have the large tip on the left, and the middle one on the right side, fit is very good (also confirmed by the iOS applet, although it always says good fit, regardless of the tip size).
I've reset the Airpods Pro once, but the problem persists.

Although noone aswered yet, I will report on my experiences.
I got the right ear piece replaced from Apple, the new one came with an M-tip, so I did not remove/alter it. The issues then were gone up until now (rougghy 1.5 weeks of daily usage). Symptoms of failure are a much more "closed feeling" in the ear when using ANC (maybe a clogged air vent?) and the transmission of the aforementioned "rumbling" noises, which were perfectly filtered out in the beginning. At least the latter must have something to do with the tip itself, as when the new ear piece arrived, I tested the M-tip of old "faulty" one on the left ear piece and it exhibited very similar symptoms (transmission of noise).
That said, I am a bit confused what could deteriorate the performance of the right ear piece. Clogged air vent, damaged mesh on the tip? Then again, the left one with the L-tip is mostly fine for about a month now.
I tried to clean the air vent, but I don't think I was successful (frankly, I don't even know which of where exactly the exhaust is placed on the ear piece...one of the meshes I guess...).
