Apache won't start up

Hi,
I just installed PHP 5.1.4 downloaded from the entropy site. I think I forgot to turn off the server when I did it. Now Apache won't start. Can somebody please help me? I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

Won't start how?
Do you have a separate installation of Apache or are you using the built in one that you turn on through the Web Sharing Preference?

How are you trying to start it and what happens when you do it?

(there are just too many possible variables to take a stab at what might be going wrong without more info)

I'm starting it through Personal Web Sharing. And it's the built-in one.

What error messages are you getting? Does something come up when you turn on personal web serving, or is there an error message in Safari when you browse to http://localhost ? Or is it external access that's the problem?

Did PHP ask you anything about reconfiguring Apache when you installed it?
