Aperture 2.0 system lock-up

Hi guys. I was importing about 300 pics last night when Aperture 2.0 locked up. I tried to force quit then got the eternal pinwheel. I had to do a hard shut down. I had just deleted a project, then started over and was importing when it happened Has anybody had this problem? Running 10.5.2.

I've had that problem when importing a corrupt jpeg.

Yes, I have had import issues.

It's now stopped, but I am up to date w/ my OSX and Aperture updates. I know the latest fix in Aperture helped. you might try that.

I've had similar problem too. Now, I download in small batches.

I had to import in small batches as others have suggested but everything is now at home on my new MBP. Small batches are the way to go!

I love aperture 2.0 after a week of use. It was worth the hassle! I do think I will still need Elements for some stuff using text or making diptychs though!
