I've got a 64GB iPhone 5s , doing a dump of my too many images/videos to Aperture 3.6.
These are the "the best camera you have is the one that is with you at that moment, family shots, whatever.
I want to offload all of them into Aperture, then delete the oldest ones from the iPhone via Preview form the iPhone directly. Done that before easily.

I have done this in the past, under 3.5.x , it worked fine.

Now, I connect to Aperture 3.6, the import stops at around 3,500 images, 4 times in a row..... :(

I tried the download to an established library and a new one, freezes at same point.

Done this twice under 3.5.x....
any other Aperture and iPhone users experienced this?
Thoughts on how to get these from my iPhone 5s?
(forget massive emails)

I've got about 2GB free memory, so not 100% full.

You might try using Image Capture to copy the pictures from the phone into a folder on the desktop, and then importing to Aperture from there (possibly in several goes).

You can also delete images via Image Capture, though it sounds like you already have a system for that.
