Aperture and MBP with 128MB Video Card...

Anyone out there using Aperture with this video card? I'm on a bit of a budget and I'm hoping that this card will suffice (with the proper RAM [4 GB], obviously).

I'm particularly interested in performance using full screen mode with landscape images. Any input appreciated.

the amount of memory dosent make much difference unless you're running it on a high resolution display

Works fine with D2X files, if a little sluggish in full screen. It's perfectly usable, however.

So any plans to use this with my 30" ACD (couldn't see why I would unless the main machine went down) would point to the 256 and 2.4 config, then, yes?

Yeah, for the 30", I'd go for the 256 or... wait and get the future 512

I've used Aperture on Apples 30inch displays and it works a charm!
And my MBP is a core duo 2ghz, 2gb of ram and the 128mb ATI.
My friend has the 17" MBP Core 2 with 256mb of video memory. I really couldn't see a difference.

Works great with my 2.2 I don't think you'll have any issues, even with RAW files.
