Aperture for Macbook

Does aperture lag on macbook(black)?

I do quite a number of photo editing and I'm new to mac.

Or should I wait for a new macbook?

I am to understand you haven't yet bought a Mac? Have you?

If not, then I would really recommend a MBP for Aperture. I tried it on my MB, and it wasn't very snappy, not slow definitely, but not snappy.

Well yeah, I havent bought a macbook as I heard that aperture lag in macbook.

Even on my MBP Aperture seemed to be a total memory hog, although it only started running really slow when I imported all my 5GB of pictures into it and it was doing some sort of thumbnail thing to them all. Still, I got really irritated with it really fast.
