ok so i just opened my aperture for the first time in like 2 days. All of my pictures are completly gone?! idk what happened to them, when i opened aperture the little box came up asking if i would like to import the sample images, as if the program just decided to restart! some one help this is like all of my work and i cannot find it!

Have you looked in the Trash?

What Aperture and Mac OS X version and what Mac do you have?

yes there gone, nothing is in my aperture library. i have aperture 2 on leopard and my mac is a
2.5ghz intel core 2 duo MBP running 4gb of ram.

someone help im really freaking out its just like aperture decided to reboot its self and delete everything

Does your library use managed files or referenced files. If referenced, did they get moved? Also, locate and double-click on the library file itself to launch Aperture instead of running Aperture directly. Maybe it lost the preference that indicates the library location. Launching the library directly should fix that.

i fixed it by holding alt cmd at the start up screen


mods please delete sorry for wasting time and space but thanks for the help
